PELLPAL pellet boiler with a power of 18 kW - 5 EcoDesign class

We present to you a modern and economical biofuel heating device. The 18 kW pellet boiler is characterized by high efficiency, thanks to which the device is able to insulate rooms with an area of up to 220 m2, while heating utility water at the same time. The mentioned biofuel is pellet with a diameter of 6 to 8 mm, which perfectly meets the requirements of larger single-family houses and public utility buildings.

The efficiency of the 18 kW pellet boiler reaches 91.5%, which is confirmed by tests carried out in accordance with the EN 303-5 standard, in which the heating device received the 5th class. Central heating boiler energy class is A+, which certifies the energy efficiency and extraordinary efficiency of the equipment. And this, combined with the low level of emissivity of carbon monoxide, tar and dust (lower than 20 mg/m3), gives you the opportunity to take advantage of higher funding for boiler replacement in accordance with the EcoDesign ecodesign.

Modern design, proven performance

The standard equipment of the 18 kW pellet device includes:

QPELL burner, which burns biofuel very efficiently,
a blower fan that supplies air to the combustion chamber,
PellPal PID controller, which is responsible for firing up, maintaining and controlling the combustion process by regularly supplying fuel.

Additional equipment of the 18 kW pellet boiler is a controller equipped with a color and touch screen (available as an option), which will make it even easier to operate the heating device. The boiler is adapted to work in an open system (a system equipped with an overflow expansion vessel), in which the installation is connected directly to the air collected in the vessel. However, if there is a need to use it in a closed system, it will be necessary to purchase additional elements in the form of a cooling coil, DBV2 safety valve, SYR 5067 thermal protection and an expansion vessel. The devices used will eliminate the chance of overpressure, which may be dangerous for the installed installation.

Construction of the PELLPAL boiler for pellets with a capacity of 18 kW

The Pellpal heating device with a power of 18 kW consists of a body made of certified 5 mm thick boiler sheet and a water jacket made of the same certified steel of the same thickness. The boiler has been designed with horizontal channels in the upper part of the device and the location of the QPELL pellet burner in the lower part of the device in the furnace door.

Next to the boiler, i.e. on its left or right side, there is a fuel tank, which is wood pellets. The biofuel with which the 18 kW PellPal boiler is powered is placed in a basket made of 0.8 mm thick sheets, powder coated and riveted together. The pellet tank is equipped with 4 legs that allow stable and correct positioning of the fuel basket. The standard capacity of the fuel tank in the PellPal 18 kW boiler is 115 kg, volume 180 liters, which ensures maintenance-free operation of the device for several days.

Fuel is supplied to the QPELL pellet burner placed in the lower door of the boiler body by means of a screw conveyor, which collects the appropriate amount of pellets from the tank and, using a spiro (pur) pipe, pours the set dose of fuel into the burner. At the same time, the chute pipe is a protection against the backfire of the fire into the fuel tank. Its special design in the form of a spirally twisted plastic braided wire protects the tank against backfire from the burner.

The boiler operation is controlled by the PELLPAL PID microprocessor boiler controller. It has initial settings of the device adapted to the given heating power of a specific boiler, selected in such a way that the process of firing up and then burning and heating water in the central heating systemran efficiently and economically. The controller has the function of automatic ignition of pellets in the burner using the igniter located in the combustion chamber.

The warranty for the boiler is 60 months and counts from the date of issue and purchase of the boiler. The warranty for the boiler is provided provided that all the requirements specified in the instruction manual are met (see attachments).

Attention! Failure to read and comply with the requirements specified in the operating manual by the user, attempt to repair it on their own, interfere with the construction of the boiler and accessories, and for other reasons not attributable to the manufacturer, results in the loss of the warranty.

The warranty also covers the accessories mounted to the boiler (fan, controller), but for the period and under the conditions specified in the warranty card of the manufacturer of these accessories.

The warranty does not cover:

mechanical damage caused during transport, assembly and operation of the boiler
elements subject to wear and tear during operation of the boiler (seal cord, seals, turbulators, hinges, screws, nuts, worm cotter pin fuse, handles and catches, ceramic elements, flame deflector, paint coatings). The warranty also does not cover the act of replacing them

damage as a result of exceeding the maximum values of temperature and pressure in the boiler
