Wood boiler PELLPAL D with 12 kW power - 5th Class EcoDesign

We are pleased to present a modern heating device that combines solid construction with a high level of efficiency. The PELLPAL D boiler with a power of 12 kW for wood is used in larger buildings whose area does not exceed 120 m² – the fuel burned can easily heat both rooms and domestic hot water in the system installation. The fuel in the described device is logs, placed once in the chamber before starting work. Its special construction allows efficient combustion without the need for frequent refueling.

The efficiency of the PellPal D wood boiler with a power of 12 kW remains at the level of 90.9%. Moreover, in conducted tests, the device received class 5, compliant with the EN 303-5 standard concerning full and declared efficiency, as well as an energy efficiency rating of A+. This, combined with a low level of suspended dust emissions below 20 mg/m3, makes the machine meet the EcoDesign project assumptions, which describe the energy and emission requirements for central heating boilers.

The PellPal D model with a power of 12 kW for wood can operate in both closed and open systems. In the first system, mandatory elements must be implemented to the boiler in the form of an external coil, SYR 5067 safety valve and DBV2, as well as an expansion vessel. In the open system, it is sufficient to use only an overflow expansion tank. The selection of individual elements will depend on the preferred system type, but essential accessories for both systems include a special accumulation tank with a minimum capacity of 504 liters.

According to the requirements of the eco-design (Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1189), boilers with manual fuel loading must be operated with a water heat storage tank, an accumulation tank with capacity dependent on the thermal power. The required capacity of the accumulation tank has been specified according to the requirements of the EN 303-5 standard and the EU Parliament Regulation 2015/1189. According to the above requirements, the capacity of the accumulation tank cannot be less than indicated in the technical data of the PellPal D boiler.

The presented wood stove belongs to modern generation devices characterized by a simple design that ensures both easy operation and trouble-free maintenance of the machine. However, we would like to remind you to carefully read the documentation attached to the purchase before the first start-up of the equipment. This will ensure the proper preparation of the machine for operation.

Construction of the PELLPAL D wood boiler with a power of 12 kW

The boiler body and outer jackets are made of certified P265GH boiler plate with a thickness of 5 mm. Individual boiler parts are laser cut, which ensures maximum accuracy and 100% repeatability of the individual elements that make up the heating device.

The construction is based on a heat exchanger with horizontal convection channels located in the upper part of the combustion chamber. In the lower part of the boiler, there is a combustion chamber equipped with a cast iron grate consisting of cast iron bars placed side by side.

The boiler is equipped with tightly closing doors that allow boiler operation, fuel loading, cleaning of convection channels, and the combustion chamber. A flap is designed in the lower doors, whose position is regulated by the Regulus air draft regulator. The chimney outlet (flue) is located at the back of the boiler. The nozzles for connecting the boiler to the heating installation are located on the top and rear part of the boiler. On the top of the boiler, there are also nozzles for mounting the draft regulator controlling the operation of the air supply flap.

Adapting the PELLPAL D boiler for operation in the boiler room

Considering the different local conditions of boiler rooms, it is possible to change the opening side of all boiler doors. The possibility of changing the main components in the PELLPAL type boiler, which are the doors, is undoubtedly a very important advantage that facilitates both convenient operation and, above all, the installation of the boiler to the central heating system and the flue gas exhaust system, i.e., the chimney. The order of assembly of the mentioned components is presented in the boiler's DTR documentation.

The boiler warranty is 24 months and starts from the date of its issuance, i.e., the purchase of the boiler. The boiler warranty is granted on the condition that all requirements specified in the operating manual are met (see attachments).

Attention! Failure to familiarize with and meet the requirements specified in the operating manual by the user, attempts at self-repair, interference with the boiler and equipment construction, and other causes not resulting from the manufacturer's fault will result in the loss of warranty.

The warranty also covers equipment installed on the boiler (fan, controller - if present), but for the period and under the conditions consistent with the warranty card of the manufacturer of that equipment.

The warranty does not cover:

• mechanical damage occurring during transport, installation, or boiler operation
• components that wear out during boiler operation (sealing cord, gaskets, swirlers, hinges, screws, nuts, handles and hooks, ceramic elements, paint coatings). The warranty also does not cover the replacement of these parts
• events described in "Causes of disturbances and malfunctions in boiler operation"
• lack of confirmation of boiler installation and protection according to PN-91/B-02413 or PN-EN 12828:2003
• actions intended to be performed by the user as specified in the operating manual
• corrosion, pitting, and material loss of the boiler caused by improper boiler operation (maintaining minimum return temperature in the boiler - temperature protection)
• damage and their effects caused by failure to use chimney ducts that do not meet the requirements considering the likelihood of flue gas condensation and resistance to harmful chemical compounds including acids.
• damage resulting from exceeding the maximum temperature and pressure values in the boiler
